What Permissions Does It Need?

This is the standard Chrome permission required to modify a webpage's DOM. The extension needs it to remove the JavaScript event handlers and CSS rules that block copying.
The extension never reads, stores, or transmits your page content. It only removes the copy restrictions.

Installation FAQ
Click the "Add to Chrome" button on this page or visit the Chrome Web Store. Click "Add to Chrome", confirm the dialog, and the extension icon will appear in your toolbar. It takes under 30 seconds.
Visit any website where copying or right-clicking is blocked, then click the Enable Copy Everywhere icon in your Chrome toolbar. The icon changes to confirm it's active. Copy and right-click are now restored for that domain.
The permission "Read and change all your data on websites you visit" is required to remove copy restrictions from a page's DOM. The extension never actually reads, stores, or transmits your content — it only removes the scripts that block copying.
By default, Chrome extensions are disabled in Incognito mode. You can enable it manually: go to chrome://extensions, find Enable Copy Everywhere, click "Details", and toggle "Allow in Incognito".
